I was trying to find out how does the Statue of Limitation work. For example I have an auto loan that has been delinquent since 2003. I got the loan in the state of Nevada. But I remember sending my bills to a Colorado address. What state should I go by? I went through a big hardship which resulted in a repo to my car back in 2003. To this day I am still recovering from that and unfortunately I can’t pay them. But the letters still keep coming and the constant credit inquiries. I want to pay what I owe however times are still rough for me and I cannot pay yet. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated. Thanks all!!!

Can a company you work for have Friday as your pay day and not pay you on that day?
February 19th, 2010Ok so I am a teacher and am without pay until the school year begins again. My husband receives his paychecks through the mail and Friday is their scheduled payday. But, they have not been arriving until Monday. This week on Fri, no check, Sat…Sun…monday is a holiday. So hes scheduled to get paid on Friday and will not be until Tuesday next week. We live in NY state. Is there any kind of law saying they cannot do this. We are so screwed because our savings is gone for the summer and this check was meant to cover loan payments that will be bouncing left and right now. What can I do?

does a dealership have to pay our loan if they are in breach of contract with us? 2 mo. still no title work.?
January 29th, 2010We bought a car 2 months ago and we still do not have the title work. We moved out of state and cannot register our vehicle. We also cannot get insurance on the vehicle because it is not registered. If I give them their car back do they have to pay off the loan? Indiana state law says they have 20 days to provide title work and it also states they can only give out 1 paper plate per vehicle, we are on our 3rd paper plate.
