i need a big auto loan. i have some questions. please help.?

April 13th, 2010

i am soon to be 22 years old. i got my first credit card at 18yrs old and immediately maxed it out ($6500 limit). i made a late payment about 6 months into paying off the amount, but all other payments were above minimum and on time. late last year i paid off the rest of it (about $4000) all at once. i cut up my card and havent used it since.

i work part time (4-5hrs a day) at my moms law firm. i make around $500 every 2 weeks. i have no expenses (i dont pay rent, i dont pay auto insurance, i dont drink, etc..) my schedule is very flexible and i can work more hours anytime i wish.

i want to take out a $30,000 auto loan over 60 months. i calculated that with an average interest rate of 7.45% that monthly payments would be $600 a month. this is absolutely fine for me because im a car enthusiast and dont mind paying that at all for the car i want (03+ bmw m3, doesnt depreciate much at all)

is it possible to be approved? i can also have my mom or dad cosign. mom: lawyer, dad: cpa
i wont be paying for insurance on the car.
the car will be a used car.
i work the hours that i do because it is comfortable for me(as i dont have any expenses), but i can easily work more if need be.
both of my parents have very good credit.
I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR INSURANCE ON THE CAR.

WITH EITHE RONE OF MY PARENTS AS MY COSIGNER SHOULDNT I BE ABLE TO GET A GOOD INTEREST RATE BECAUSE OF THEIR CREDIT?

MAJOR ISSUE WITH CITI-FINANCIAL PLEASE HELP !!!?

March 26th, 2010

Oka here is the spill I need all the advice I can get !! In march of 2008 I called citi-financial to make a car payment I had used them to finance my car. I was told my account was paid in full. I was shocked because I didn’t know who would have paid off my account I owed 8,000.00. After calling around to family members my father-in-law said he paid off the car. I was getting ready to have my baby and It was a present to me he said. I had a mustang and he knew we needed something more sutible. A few days later my Title came, a payoff letter thanking me for my buisness, and the original loan contract I signed the day I bought my car stamped “paid in full “. I was so happy !!! Well, in July of that year I finally found a man willing to trade his trail blazer to me for my mustang. even trade. we exchanged titles went and registered our cars. case closed. So I thought !!! In November of 2008 I got a call from a collection agency saying I owed over 2,000 in past due payments. I explained the car was paid, faxed them a letter, and the contract stamped paid in full and never heard a word. The other day another comany contacted me and said I still owe the money. I said my father in law paid it. They called me a liar. I am scared to death. I have all documets showing the car was paid in full, i recieved a title, I don’t even own the car anymore !!! my father-in-law can’t find the money order reciept since it was a year later. I am worried my father in law may have lied and not paid it. Could citi-financial have made a huge mistake and sent all that on accident. If so, can anything be done at this point if they have no title, no contract, nothing !! I want to believe my father in law is telling me the truth but I don’t know what to do from here !! I need alll the advice I can get !!!

I have a big problem! Please help!?

February 24th, 2010

Yesterday I paid off all of my credit card bills as I wanted to be rid of my debt. I have a pay day loan that I need to pay back but have defaulted on it (financial issues). In October 06, I closed my checking account do to fraudulent activity and reopened a new one however I failed to advise the pay day place as it was only October and I was getting my bonus in January so I would pay it back then. I received a call from a guy claiming to be from the Fraudulent Dept. and advised me that my name was being submited to a system called ETracks for fraudulent checks. He advised that if it is submitted to e-tracks, all of the local law enforcements will have my info and a warrant can be issued and i will be given a criminal record for fruadulent checks! I said why wouldn’t the company contact me when the debit was returned! Why would they keep submitting it to a closed account! He said if it’s not paid by tomorrow he will submit my name through etracks and get this, I have to pay him!
Continuation: He said that i can not make the payment through the company as it will not post on time. I think he’s a collection agency but the Etracks thing really scares me! I can’t risk having something like this on my criminal history. I’m a good Christian woman, I’m not a criminal! If I get a history, it would be so hard for me to get employment! I don’t understand why they would continue to make an ACH debit on a closed account without contacting me after it was returned. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?? Can someone really be given a criminal history from a software. Wouldn’t they have to be arrested first?
I forgot to mention that because I paid off all of my credit cards, I’m short on funds and wont be paid until next week!
I just want to confirm that I “WILL NOT” be given a criminal history without first being arrested correct? That way, I can prove that I don’t write fraudulent checks and that I had my account closed for suspicious activity and also that the company never had any troubles getting the fees from be prior to October. If etracks will not give me a criminal record, I would atleast have a chance to settle this bill. I can’t even sleep or eat, I’m so worried. This is definitely a lesson learned. Oh get this, he said he called me to let me know what was going on as he sees that I do not have a criminal record. He said he usually does that for people without the record but anyone who has the record, he just submits to etracks.
