Dont know what to do.?

Last summer I moved away from my friends and family for a job. My brother in law told me it would be really easy to get a job in the area I moved to since most of the students were gone for summer break. I planned on saving all the money I made there to enroll in college.
After a few months I got involved with drugs and parties. It started out small, a social activity, but my addiction soon soared, after about 9 months I had no money to my name, two pay day loans out for over $1000.00, a past due credit card that was over the limit, all my money for food and rent was gone, and I drove away the girl I loved the most.
I hit rock bottom, and I hated it, I couldn’t deal with it.
I needed help, I needed to go back home.
I knew that if I stayed I would not have been able to stay away from the parties and the drugs.
So I left, I quit my job and had an old friend pick me up.
It’s been about a month now, I quit smoking and drinking and haven’t touched any drugs since I’ve been back.
But I still need help, I have no job, no home, and no money, and I still owe both check advance places and my credit card is still over due.
I want to go to bates, to get a degree in web design.
But I can’t find a way out of this hole. Interest keeps piling on, and I don’t think any college will let someone with credit like mine in, especially when I have the loans and the messed up credit card.

I need advice, I just don’t know what to do anymore.

  1. Pat says:

Contact your local government and ask about credit counseling services they might offer. They also should have services for someone that is homeless to help you get back on your feet. Good luck!
